CA Coastal Commission

2015 Sponsorship
Los Angeles, CA

Rubio's is proud to announce its 2015 partnership with the California Coastal Commission! We are extremely excited to team up to keep our shorelines and ocean clean and healthy.

The Coastal Commission has run the Whale Tail License Plate Grants Program since 1998, which distributes funds from sales of Whale Tail license plates to organizations across CA supporting programs that connect people to the coast and watersheds. In 2015, the Commission will have a second funding source for these grants - a check box on the state income tax forms for charitable contributions to the "Protect our Coast and Oceans Fund."

We hope that you will join Rubio's and share your love for the ocean by donating to the "Protect our Coast and Oceans Fund" when filing your taxes this year. Look for it in the Voluntary Contributions section of your state tax form. Your donation is tax deductible (to be claimed the following year) and will help raise awareness about the importance of keeping our shorelines and ocean healthy and pristine.
