This meal of one Cheese Enchilada, one World Famous Fish TacoSM, beans, rice, chips and a drink does more than taste great - for every St. Nick Combo ordered, Rubio's contributes a dollar in support of Volunteer San Diego's A Visit From St. Nicholas program which provides backpacks, toys and books to local schoolchildren. |

Radio LollipopJuly 2006 In July 2006, Rubio's made a donation for every Churro sold throughout the area surrounding the Children's Hospital of Orange County to its project Radio Lollipop. Rubio's joins 102.7 KIIS FM and host Ryan Seacrest in raising funds to produce this radio station which broadcasts right from the hospital for the benefit and entertainment of the children. |

Rock 'N' Roll MarathonJune 4, 2006 Rubio's proudly sponsored the water station at mile 11.6 at this popular marathon. The U.S. Postal Service and the U.S. Marines filled out our staff of 75, and together we served over 20,000 runners. In addition to reaching personal fitness goals, many participants were members of Teams in Training, raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Rubio's salutes everyone who participated! |

Celebrating February with HeartFebruary 2006 Throughout the month of February 2006, Rubio's locations hosted the mobile collection unit of the San Diego Blood Bank. With blood levels of all types at precariously low levels, Rubio's partnered in the effort to encourage donors by providing free taco meals to successful donors during Bloodmobile visits at our restaurants, and free tacos to all who donated elsewhere any time in February. |
