I received a coupon for a free meal for my birthday and felt kinda unsure about redeeming it. But when I arrived at the Fountain Valley location I was surprised! The man that met me behind the counter was awesomely friendly and even helped me with my decision. It was a blessing to not only enjoy a Rubio's meal on my birthday, but also to have a great experience.

What a great surprise to find my usual favorite even better! I loved coming back in town to find the fish taco more crunch and fabulously filling! Thanks for making a taco to help the summer seem bearable here in AZ!!!

We eat here between 2-3 times a week. We love the fresh ingredients and most of the staff are great. We are watching what and how much we eat so your menu gives us several great choices. We especially like the port street tacos and the salads. Usually the wait is very short and it is ready by the time we get our drinks and cups of salsa. The mild is usually too runny at this location (guess they add water or more of the juice from the tomatoes). The one problem that is consistent at all locations is the trays are warped so the food slides all over it. I guess it is cheap plastic that melts in cleaning. I finally tired your basic fish taco and it was tasty but not too healthy for me to eat often. Too much batter (the best part) and greasy.

Friendly, they always remember your name when u return, if you had a bad day, its a little better after you've come in for a bite or just a cup of water, very good PR btw Cheers to the whole crew!!!

Polly is one-of-a-kind and I don't know of any other fast food place who has someone like her. Polly works the lunch crowd every weekday. She clears tables, greats customers, brings the food to them, cleans up spills, restocks...and just does whatever has to be done. She's a bundle of energy and good will that is hard to come by these days.

The menu is always offering something very interesting and unusual. But you can depend on the regular items to be cooked just for you each and every time. The latest offering is to order "a-go-go" kits to take home for the whole family. A special treat is the wonderful salsa bar, always fresh and clean. Always look for the Rubio's and forget the others.

When I saw the availability of Rubio's in the Phoenix area, I knew Rubio's would be the first place we eat at once we came to town. This restaurant was the closest to our hotel. Even at 8 pm, customers were still venturing in. The food was fresh with unique combinations. It was just what we wanted after several hours on the road. The place was clean and fantastically decorated. The service is fast and the price is quite affordable. The chipotle salsa is the best!!! The up-tempo beach music puts one in a good mood to appreciate this nuvo-Mex fare!

If it were to cost more, it would be too pricey. Great fun casual atmosphere. Great for young kids, and way better than fast food burger joints. Love the salsa bar!!!!
